Kel-Flex Kevlar/Aramid Packing
Manufactured from Dupont Kevlar yarn impregnated with PTFE dispersion and treated with lubricant, then braided into square cross section.
Suitable for high pressure applications with its high tolerance, it can be used seperately or as back up rings with other types of packing to combine different features into a packing set.
This packing was developed to replace asbestos packings for pump systems as it covers all the service range of an asbestos packing with much higher durability under severe conditions.
